Founded in 1947 and headquartered in Beirut, Lebanon, it is the administrative body for basketball in Lebanon. It represents basketball before public authorities as well as with national and international sports organizations, and represents Lebanon in international competitions. It also defends the moral and material interests of basketball in Lebanon.
